Anyone notice how divx5 is a rip of the 4.12 project mayo divx codecs. Want proof?
open Virtual dub load a DX50 codec headered/format file, check the "popup extended open options" box
In the feilds force video format FOURCC to, type in divx
check the box force video codec handler FOURCC code to divx again. OK
It will load without the pirated commerchialized hack rip divx 5 codec installed. provided you have the 4.12 mayo codec installed and without any divx5 installed.
If 5 is so superior why does a project mayo 4.12 codec handle the video stream?
What of this bastardized divx 5 codex refusal to uninstall even in administrator mode have to delete the codec from a command prompt, or the way it monopolizes your divx handling not giving your the option of using it soely for divx5 streams albeit unneeded except for laymens that dont know any better think they require it.
Simple header editing on the media file and you're gold.
little side note when I inquired about this very subject on the divx 5
divx.scam site message boards they immediately deleted my messages? Did i strike a nerve? Why such behavior in responce to a simple question?
