    Tsunami and Xvid Question

Where could i find a working link for tsunami 3.9.3? and i got my hands on xvid's of the 25th hour and tears of the sun, the picture is fine but the sound doesnt seem to be all there, i could hear the music and alot of the soundeffects of people walking, closing doors, car engines, but i cant hear the people's voices. At some parts i can hear them talking softly but most of it is unhearable. Anyone know what codec i could be missing or what the problem is??

    1. Load up the AVI file into GSpot and post a screenshot of the information displayed here.

    Alternatively:
    1. Open the file in Virtualdub
    2. Go to File -> File Information
    3. Post what information you see here

      Welcome to forum c3r3bus.
Most probably AC3 sound of some description.
If it is, get the AC3 filter here and in the configuration dialog box, enable the "gain" and set it to strong and enable Dynamic range compression.

Capture the file information dialog box, while active (or selected), using Alt- Print Scrn. Paste onto a picture editor, such as Paint, and save it as a JPG file. Post the file as an attachment.

Install an AC3 filter as The Edge suggested.

I installed the ac3 filter and used those settings but still no luck, i guess its a possibility that the xvid's could have been ripped improperly, but im doubting that. Do you know where i could find tsunami 3.9.3, the link on this sites is temporarily down

lol, and btw uncass i already had the ac3 filter in a codec pack before he even suggested that i do. are you here to antagonize or help?

help is difficult when there is no such thing as feedback from the person asking questions!

latest tsunamis filterpacks can always be found on my page.
