AC3 in DivX-Video...?

    AC3 in DivX-Video...?

    Is ther any way to make a DivX WITH the AC3-Stream, to save the sourround-sound in the Movie...?

    Hi and welcome,
    Assuming your source is a DVD, then DVD2AVI will setup a project file but will also demux the AC3 sound from DVD. You can demux all audio streams if there's more then one. When you have your video transcoded, mux the Video and AC3 together with Nandub adding the delay if there is one.

    If your source is NOT a DVD, the use Besweet to create your AC3 track. (At the cost of losing quaility!)

      save the sourround-sound in the Movie
      mp3 or ogg vorbis can easily store SURROUND information.

      5.1 dolby digital, however, cannot be acocmplished by using mp3.
      ogg vorbis of course can.

      all i'm saying is: if you want surround you might also use mp3 or ogg.

      if you had dd 5.1 in mind then whis is not only SURROUND sound.

        I mean the originaly stream of the DVD... So it is DD 5.1/ DD Ex 6.1 what i want... like i say: the AC3-Stream of the DVD...
