this is a bit of a contradiction, isnt it?

5.05 is the LATEST divx version ( i dont take tanahea or kauehi into account for obvious reasons)

so OLDER version would rather be 5.02 or divx4 or divx3 for me

      @ jansensan

go into the divx settings and look for DISABLE LOGO
that should solve your problem with all NEWER divx 5 versions!

Right, so this is a good option! however, I looked and I can't find a "disable DIVX logo" option anywhere... if you could tell me where it is, that'd help me... either that or I'm too dumb too find it myself... thanx for the help!

You will find the "Decoder Configuration" in the windows startmenu or maybe at "C:\Programms\DivX\DivX Codec\config.exe".
          don't trust in guides

Well, about the directory, no. I put it somewhere else. But even in the codec config i didnt find that option.

So i found another solution, I flushed divx 5.0.5 and re installed 5.0.2

            It solved my problem. Thanx
