Hi is there any way of burning photographs onto a CD so that it can be played back on DVD cos i tried to just burn photos and it wouldn't work toh my DVD player supports photo playback.

also it may help if you provide a little more information
on your DVD standalone player.
If your manual says that it supports something like a kodak
picture cd or photo cd it might work if you just burn
your photos to cd using the standart iso data format.
(use a cd-rw to try if your player is able to read them)
but since most players are only equipped with
mpeg decoding hardware make sure that your photos
are in *.jpg *.jpeg or jpeg2000 format.
pictures that have the extension like tiff gif bmp or whatever
won´t be displayed.
of course, following uncas advice would provide you with better
compatibility with other standalone players if you intend to give away copies of your photocds to your friends!!
