    yep...the ***.sfv file is something like a hashfile that you have downloaded before starting the real download to make sure that your download has succeded after it has been finished.

    the ***.rar file is , most likley the download that you have requested!!!

    the ***.r37 is (which I am not absolutly sure of) about where you started to download and by what procedures you used!

    I am not sure about this last point ... if anyone does know better
    please assist!!

      if you have WinRAR installed on your system, you should be able to simply doubleclick on the file named "obs-tij1.rar" to expand and join all of the sequential files into one uncompressed video...

          "yep ... thanks .. setarip..."

          My pleasure ;>}

          The above statement, as I'm sure YOU understand, falls into the category of "proper etiquette" - responding in kind to someone thanking you.

              if only one replies when being asked questions.

              as my experience shows, sometimes direct questions stay unanswered - that of course does not correspond with my understanding of nettiquette.

                I am not sure of what I did wrong!!!
                telling shagg2e that the *.rar file is probably the download that he has requested, might have been the answer he did look for!!!

                  At the risk of confusing this thread yet further, when I said to you, "The above statement, as I'm sure YOU understand, falls into the category of 'proper etiquette' - responding in kind to someone thanking you." - I was referring to my phrase of "My pleasure ;>}"...

                  I appreciate your politeness ;>}

                      Should be simple enough, since one key fits all...

                            Just some basic information:

                            When a large file is compressed using Winrar, Winrar can split the files into smaller chunks (usually 15MB in size). The extension of the first file is *.rar followed by *.r00, *.r01, *.r02....... *.r37. To start extracting, one will have to open the first file *.rar.
