I'm trying to play an .avi file, the movie Phone Booth. at first all i would get was sound with the DivX Pro 5.0.5 codec so then i downloaded the ffdshow codec and i now get video. My problem is that the color is off. Like for example i see blue for red. What do i do? Any help is appreciated, thanks!

are you sure to use the latest ALPHA of ffdshow?
if not go for it and make sure that ffdshow is the defaultfilter for divx and xvid (which your title should be)

it works now in Windows Media Player, thanx a bunch
u dont really need to bother with helping me on this problem because its not that big of a deal, but if u can... how can i get the colors to be right in Winamp?

though I regard winamp to be an excellent tool,
I would not chosse it to display my videos.
If you still intend to abandon the Windows media player
( which is a great idea in my opinion)
just give the BS Player or the MV2 player a try.
both are excellent freeware and available on the softwaresection
