    standalone divx players and nanodub

I have recently been looking at standalone divx players particularly the umax 6100 and was wondering does anybody know if i create a divx film with ac3 audio using nanodub, burn it to a cd or dvd and then stick it in a umax 6100 will it play?

I thought Umax only made scanners.

If they now make DVD players, just go to their site and check out the specs. Unless it specifically states that it DOES play DivX-compressed .AVIs, it doesn't...

umax / yamada have different players with mpeg-4 playback capabilities on the market

most divx players (kiss dp-450 . firmawareupdate required)
display ac3! movies. since they are normal dvdplayers with divx
capability enhanced. in the kiss player using the ac3 information is just piped to the hardwaredecoder implemented.
in the yamada and elta .... normal feature of firmware!!

Is that cyclone a stand-alone DVD-player or a PC DVD drive?
