I have a *.dss file and it's complimentary *.log file that I need to convert to a workable .avi or .mpg in order to record to a cd for viewing on a DVD or CDROM.
The file was produced by a Security Digital Video Recorder (DVR) and you can only play the file back using AverMedia's software.
My client needs this file on a DVD or (S)VCD in order to show the court system what took place. We cannot drag the DVR into the court room and I have recieved little to no support from AverMedia.
The files used for the CODEC are MPG4C32.dll, mpg4ds32.ax, and MPG4vki.inf.
I will gladly post the CODEC files, *.dss file and its associated *.log file if anyone thinks they can help (ZIP is 4,137 KB)
Any direction you can give or any assistance you can lend would be mighty appreciated.
