Are you converting an AVI file to MPG? Or what is it you are doing with TMPGEnc?
When I had downloaded one of the recent updates I found that it provided an option at the last phase as to whether I wanted the files combined or separated into audio and video files. I didn't realize this until after I found my finished file didn't have any audio either.Comment

I suspect you are experiencing the same problem I did. It is really quite simple, almost embarrasing. If it is, just pay attention when you get to the last screen (I believe) where it asks you want name you want to save you file as. There should be a check box asking whether you want to create separate audio and video streams.Comment
