    Audio Sync problems

    OK first of all I'm using DVD reaper for my DVD conversion. My problem is ... I have the video ripped (all is OK there) and I have the audio ripped (ac3 format) now I am trying to multiplex them together but when it is done the audio is out of sync. I have adjusted the audio stream and got is perfect at the begining of the movie but within 30 seconds it stars to go out of sync again .
    I have been working on this movie for 3 days now and can't get it to sync up. I have even tried 4 or 5 other conversion and ripping utilities with the same problem !!

    Any help would be appreciated

    Thank you in advance;

    whan you want multiplex avi stream and ac3 stream the interleaving value is really important.TRy 160ms for interleaving and preroll 160ms.
    Can you say me which player you use?

        ok ,so i think you can try power divx next generation or bsplayer 0.34rc4 ,for my configuration only this software works with ac3 in avi.
        Good luck

          160 is not always correct

          depending on the bitrate you should use one of these settings:

          AC3 192kbit/s => Preload: 80ms Interleave every 80ms.
          AC3 384kbit/s => Preload: 160ms Interleave every 160ms.
          AC3 448kbit/s => Preload: 128ms Interleave every 128ms.
