How can I capture Video with a TV-Tuner ?

Hi !!!

RASH here. I have a Pinnacle PCTV TV-Tuner card. I want to capture video using the card. The software that came with the TV-Tuner for such video capturing has a lot of quality ristrictions. Is there any good software by the help of which I can capture good quality video ? I heard that VirtualDUB did some kind of Video Capturing. Can anyone please tell me how it is done ? I even tried PowerVCR 3.0D but it seems it does not support my card. Is there any other s/w for capturing video off a TV-Tuner card ?

In Virtualdub under "file" select "capture avi" Unless you have a high end system it is recommended that you capture in uncompressed avi, however this file may be very large, then later use divx compression.

howdi there...good to see somone using a Pinnacle card coz im about to by one, i have a friend who uses Pinnacle Studio delux, try and get the software for that of any p2p program, especially the software for Pinnacle Studio Delux.
