delete anything on your hd, wherever it is saved to clear space for your back-up files. right click, delete. then empty your recycle/norton recycle bin

of course not, once you delete it like i showed you--it's gone. is this your first time using dvd shrink, and how big is your hard drive (storage space) on your pc?

playmaker, you need about 4.4Gb of free space on your hard drive for Shrink to hold the Shrunken files before they get burnt to the dvd blank disc.

To clear up some space check the drives properties and click on "Disk Cleanup" if you still don't have enough space try uninstalling some software you don't need/use. But don't start deleting files willy-nilly or things will stop working.

You definitely need a second hard drive which can provide more storage space and increase the processing speed. Besides, hard drives nowadays become less expensive that we can get one on sale for less than $100.00 for 120GB

                  Regards

I'm curious to know exactly how big your harddrive is. Don't tell me you still have a 40GB.
