How can I take a video and create a embedded animations?

I have a video that I would like to take it and change it into animation? I just want to use the image and leave the backgroundout! Is this possible? If I took a video of a man walking ,can I take that video of the man walking and make him walk across my website?

yes you can, but it can be a very time-consuming task. you will need to output frames from the video file, edit the background out (make it transperant) for each frame. then create an animated gif file.

Thank You for the reply anonymez. Do you know of any examples of this or do you know how to do this yourself? If so how can I get the instructions on how to do it?

                              download virtualdub from http://www.virtualdub.org

open up your avi file with it, click 'file', 'save image sequence'. for output format, you should choose bmp. add a prefix, choose directory, click OK.

you should now have a large number of bmp files, one for each frame of the video. they should be named according to the prefix you set, eg video001.bmp, video002.bmp, etc.
