It claims to be a samsung 7200rpm so nothing super. Weather samsung's good or bad I don't know - but for $10 it will store my music files wonderfully I'm sure.

It comes with a 3 year warranty, So it's better than Maxtor in that sense. The only thing keeping me from buying it is the fact that I've never heard of the manufacturer and am therefore weary of the Manufacturer's mail-in rebate.

I applied for them all electronically online. I'll hear from Compusa in 1-2 days now for confirmation. Nothing to mail in, very nice - like Staples and Costco.

According to the flyer, only the $5 rebate is an e-rebate. Everything else looks like a MIR.

All I had to do was enter info from the sale's receipt. Very easy. Receipt says 21 days for returns so they get to keep the money for a few weeks.

I got a raincheck for a lynksys pci wireless card for $5 bucks and I went and picked it up today. Since it was for a 6hr special, I didn't have to do a MIR. Yay!
