    Do you know a very simple very fast Divx decoder ?

    Hallo Friends:

    I have a PII machine, 96 Mb memory running W2000, that's becaming old. Please, what Divx decoder can I download, that though rustic, it will be fast ?, ( I don´t need refinements).

    Try Nimo Codec Pack 5.

    Howdi there..try Nimo Codec Pack 5, it has all the lattest DivX codecs, go to http://perso.wanadoo.fr/nimo/ this is nimos codec site its the latest DivX codec also has DivX version 5.

      i wouldnt recommend divx5 to do the job, since it is very demanding!

      try a player like bsplayer with those codecs installed, you will need for your files!!

      i wouldnt install 4 or 5 if only divx3 files were to be played!!!

        What do u mean by DivX 5 being very demanding?

        Coz its fine on me pc?

            I would say it's the players you need to change. Windows Media Player 6.4 and The Playa are two good choices. Remember to set the filter settings of the codec down to zero so that your CPU can cope well with the playback task.

              Try http://www.sasami2k.com/ . It's not updated for some time, but the actual version works good on my old 300MHz and has also a lot of interesting options.
