now nero tell me the disc could be not playing.i really don't understand.
i convert with avi2dvd but still not working, i use dvd-r & dvd+rw but still not playing why can somebody help me please.

are you receiving a warning message from nero telling you *the resulting dvd MAY not play properly*?

if so ignore it and go ahead!

the reply that UncasMS gave you usually comes when you try to burn the dvd and it will say something like re-allocation of files failed. Can you play the dvd from your hard drive with dvd player software. I would check the playing of the video you're encoding after each step to see which step is giving you the problem. Dvdshrink is pretty fussy about opening a dvd compilation and I sometimes use dvdshrink to open a questionable dvd compilation from my hard drive. If dvdshrink opens it without any errors it usually is ok
