I might not be up on new decks but is there a DVD recorder on the market that can finalize a DVD so that it can be played on virtually any DVD player? If so, what brand and model is this machine so that I can go out and buy one?! Thanks for any replies.

I would recommend a NEC 3550. You can get one at newegg.com for $35.99 + Free Shipping. - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16827152060
I own its predecessor, the 3540 and absolutely love it.
They are very fast rippers as well.Comment
