    copy protect DVDs

I create home made movies with my friends and we like to sell the DVDs we create (for around a buck or two). We noticed that some people would instead of getting it from us would burn the discs for their friends. Now I of course wouldn't have a problem if it was a friend or two, but lately it's just getting out of hand. Could anyone please tell me how I can copy protect our DVDs. We are no computer wizzes and would like something simple. Some of our ideas were to somehow to make a small file that makes it look like the dvd is over 100% full, thus burners wouldn't be able to burn the DVD; or maby insert some corrupted file. But we have absolutely no idea how to do so. Can anyone give us some simple method of copy protecting our DVDs (commercial or non commercial, but software based)

    Thank You.

    No,

There is no way to add copyright protection to a home made DVD

Store bought DVD's are not burned they are stamped.

Unless you were to patton you product and pay for the copyright protection and that all costs money to do. You wont be able to do this .

    Good luck to you.

      More commonly known as "Pressed".

What about overburning like you can do with a CD. I also read somewhere that you can make a kb sized file that when you burn it the DVD drive thinks that the DVD is more than full, have any info in that?
BTW, thank you for such quick responses.
