Re-direct to Lycos?

I'm not sure if anyone else has noticed this but it seems that any page with Jack L. on it creates a re-direct to an error screen with a message about 'you've reach your maximum quota of 150' and then goes to a Lycos page. I'll check my system to see if it's isolated to my PC but I doubt that it is. But I'll do a system check just in case.

I had the same problem. It happened to me three times, and I was thinking to have some spyware, so I did a scan but I didn't find anything.

I'm relieved to know that I'm not the only one with this issue

Thanks for letting me know. I just did a quick check of my system and didn't find anything so I figured it had to do with a websites re-direct or something.

I have fixed a page with cybermare sig (the sig makes this happen). Someone is trying to hack the forum.

What other thread please?

Blu, It seems to be somehow linked to Jack Lurker. It happened to me also when I was trying to view his PM to me. So I tested a few threads that I seen or remembered that he was on and it happens each time on those specific threads, but only on the pages with a post from him.

If I'm wrong for presuming this I personally apologize to Jack, but that's what I have noticed.

No, you are correct. Somehow this little script (which the now banned user cybermare created as his signature) got into Jack's sig.

It has now been fixed.

To be sure you are not somehow infected, clear your cookies and temporary internet files cache.

Well, I dont know what happened but i'm clean this end. I apologise for any problems that this caused you guys but it was not my doing. What exactly was infected in my sig? Aplogies again, it really wasnt my fault, honest!
