Hello guys
first i want to the thank the Admin and the mods for this great forum ,
I honestly know a very little about burning dvd's and computers in general and i would like to ask if there is a freeware that could burn some mpeg file into dvd's ? i tried imgburn but i got " file type are not supported" that's for the mpegs
so please guys help is needed

Check out www.download.com for loads of Open Source software that will do the job. There is a lot of OS software that will do the stuff that pro software offers........ Just search for dvd and theres lots there...

Or you may want to invest in Nero burning rom it doesnt cost much. Its once of the best burning programs out there, that can burn just about everything.


IMGburn was made for DVD movies files.

Whats wrong with Nero I love it for everything that I burn with the exception of dvd movies I love Imgburn for those.

Nero is what I use for music , data, video cds and much much more. LOL

I don't mind nero to convert files to burn to dvd...very slow tho....

it depend on your computer I can convert 30 GB + movie for 12 hours

i searched for dvd copier on download.com and the only freeware that i found was cheetah DVD Burner 1.64 , do u guys know anything about it ?

bond747, if the files are dvd compliant, DVDAuthorGUI and Ifo Edit, both freeware, will author them. then ImgBurn to write to dvd
