      well, you were right, it does work now, for the most part as some songs have extremely low volume levels so this program actually does a hell of a job to get that low recording at close to normal volume, it will do, just wanted to say thank you very much for all of the help! Maybe you can take a look here to see if you can help there too? Thanks.

        oh BTW RGBurns, a friend of mine ahs the same Alesis 3630, I will also try that piece soon to see if it will help MPC, Ive been told that it should help nicely, thanks!

          glad it worked


          iirc MPC will only normalize up to a level that won't result in clipping, which is definitely a good thing.

            Only the "audio" part is working unfortunately, yesterday I had to reboot 3 times after gettting graphics problems with MPC, please check the other thread for that problem , thanks.
