what's the best dvd copying software

can anyone tell me what they feel to be the best dvd copy software, i am using smart ripper - dvdx 1.7 and vcd easy, i get decent results, but am just wondering if there is any better

Add TMPGEnc and vFAPI (for my IVTC purposes) to the list. Not a very easy one to use though.

Inverse Telecine. You do this on Original FILM-material-converted-to-NTSC contents only. In your case, PAL is a very "ripper-friendly" format. No interlacing artifacts to get a headache over.
