Help with DVD ( Thanx )

Hello, can anyone tell me if there is a program I can use to convert dvd's to SVCD and fitting the movie on no more than 2 cd's? My normal VCD's come out really well, but I am ready to try for SVCD's. I ahve been using Smart Ripper, DVD2AVI, TMPEng, and now am experimenting with DaviDeo.
Any sugestions would be greatly appreciated..
    Thanx in Advance...

For compliant SVCDs, you can typically get 35 minutes of playing time per CD-R...

      One more question, ok..

if I use SmartRipper, and then DVD2AVI, and then use Vob2 Audio to save the audio file as MP3, will TMPenc accept the mp3 file and make the final mpeg smaller??
I have tried to encode using TMPEnc for SVCD, but it tells me I cant save as mpeg2 because the time trialis over.. So so sad.............

you can put between 35-60 min on a SVCD not only 35 min.

"will TMPenc accept the mp3 file and make the final mpeg smaller?"

          1) It will certainly accept the .MP3 audiostream for input (as long as it's a Constant Bit Rate and not a Variable Bit Rate .MP3 stream).

          2) Make the final MPEG smaller than what? (It will convert the audiostream, no matter what it's original format) to MPEG format.
