    corrupted vob?

if i believe i have a corrupted vob how can i confirm that?
every time i try to encode it flask crashes
i've narrowed it down to a particular vob out of a set
    what creates a corrupted vob?
    scratches, bad data?
can you repair it or is the only option to cut that part out of the final product.
    eternal peace

use a different ancoder then flask and maybe you'll be proven wrong and it'll be the encoder not the vob file.

If you have DVD software (WinDVD, PowerDVD, etc.), run the software and "drag and drop" the .VOB onto it and see if it plays properly (It may play with a different language, but ignore that)...
