The sign [ is used to get bold text in this forum
    Code:
    [b]Makes me bold[/b]
To get to the additional characters to the right like the euro sign on the 'E' key I need to press 'Alt Gr' and the wanted key.

¤ is the international sign for currency (also called the sun sign). It was invented when the american ASCII-standard was remade into the international standard (ISO 646) and the $ sign was perhaps to capitalistically for some red countries in Europe. Never seen it used.

      Admin,

thanks for all your hard work in keeping the forum open.!

Perhaps you should reaname this thread: Everyting you wanted to know about the swedish keyboard
Just kidding. Actually, its kind of interesting learning about other lanquages, and their adaptation to the digital world.

The reason why your local DNS might still be redirecting to the old server has to do with cached DNS entries, as well as just the normal time it takes for changes to DNS settings to propagate around the world. There might be millions of DNS servers that need to be updated before everyone sees the site on the new server.

Sometimes I really wonder how the Internet manages to work, with so many things happening at the same time (DNS updates, request and packets flying everywhere), but it does work and it's quite a marvel of technology.
Thnx for the heads up on DNS Admin. You're definitely right about the Internet. It's just unbelievable sometimes when you think about the millions of uses it provides and simultaneously like you mentioned. Wish I could Google a cure for the common cold. Now that would really be something.
          SAMSUNG SH-S203B, SAMSUNG SH-S223F,

Take the suggestions and follow the directions. The results will speak for themselves.

          Google is definitely our friend.
