    blu ray videos

    Can you use normal dvd`s to put blu ray movies on ? or is there blu ray disc`s?

    no... and yes

    of course proper blu-ray structures and content can only be burned to either bd-r25 or 50gb media BUT you can convert bd material to so called AVCHD (very similar in terms of audio and video stream) and burn this content to a dvd or better dvd9/dvd-dl media

    the result can look very good and close to blu-ray material

    of course you will need a bd player even for the material burned to dvd/dvd-dl media

      im sure u can get a bluray structure on dvd and play on pc's dvd rom with powerdvd. u need bluray playable software dvd player [powerdvd standard wont play it.] and yes outcome was way better then a standard dvd.
      Seems like as soon you buy somehing, v. 2 comes out 1.5 times as fast!..!

        burnt to a disc powerdvd should play the media but still powerdvd is crap software

        if you want really excellent playback software for your pc which plays everything from anyplace (powerdvd will not play file sfrom harddrive) go for ArcSoft's TotalMedia Theatre
