file spilting

I have copied a vhs video tape ( our marriage lol ) onto my hard drive it is almost 2 hours in length. my question is what program is there that will record this file to a dvd disk? I have tried on my panasonic dvd burner but I get the error file is too big. so how do I split this file and record with the two or more files to a dvd disc (just like a regular dvd movie. please help thanks
and yes I have a capture card that did this

If the file is in either MPEG1 or MPEG2 format, you can split it using TMPGEnc as follows:

File>>MPEGTools>>Merge&Cut
