Nero Burning CD DVD

If I install Nero..it disables my DVD drive and my CD writer Drive

I cannot find any details in the list...anybody know why it does this and if there is a way around it to have EAST CD 5 Platinum and Nero installed.

EasyCD (and its successor Roxio) definitely do not peacefully coexist with NERO. Uninstall one or the other...

My experience is that you have to install first Nero and then Easy cd Creator!!

It works by me!!!

Thanks for the info ...doing a re-install after installing Nero seems worth the try..so i will go for it..let you know the results and thanks to all for help.

Nero & Easy 5

Sorry for taking so long to get back....

Having uninstalled adaptec easy 5 etc,. and re-installed nero....
my dvd -d: drive and cd-r drive e: drive and a deamon virtual drive all become disabled...cannot re-install hardware, plug n play does not see them. So I have to restore from before un-install easy cd to get them back..... and this removes Nero!

Using WinXP home.
