i know there are bitrate calculators to determine the filesize that a divx encode will produce, but i want to know the video bitrate of an existing divx file. how is this possible? is there anything like a bitrate calculator that will perform this task? i know i can rigth click on the divx .avi file, and select details, but this does not give the true bitrate. any help would be appreciated.

thanks enchanter. i did think of that but i kind of wanted a way to find the exact bitrate. the bitrate calc i have only allows you to input minutes and not seconds. it also only lets you input, say, 34 MB , and not something like 34.6 MB so for smaller files this can sometimes throw the bitrate off a bit. i know there are several bitrate calcs out there. is there one that is more advanced than the one i have? it would be nice to know what bitrate calc i need without having to download and test several. although, most of the files i have tested, that i know the bitrates of, have been pretty close. thanks for your advice. also, in vdub selecting file info will not give you the bitrate of the divx clip, atleast i dont think it will. i have tried it before and couldnt find it.Comment
