Divx movies encode OK, but sound delay after burning onto DVD

I hope someone can help me please - I have found that when I TMPGEnc a downloaded Divx codec film, its fine.

I then author it with Ulead and its still fine.

But when I burn it onto a DVD with Ulead or Nero, the sound ends up delayed by about 2 seconds.

Can anyone help me out please - we all know how long downloading and encoding takes (even burning isn't that fast) and to be let down at the last hurdle is a nightmare.

    Many thanks

    Resolved

The easiest way I've now found to resolve this is to extract a wav audio file from the avi using Virtualdub, then combining the avi file and the wav file when encoding to Mpeg 2 using TMPGEnc.

Then I author using Ulead Movie Factory and burn using this as well. Works every time (at the moment!)
