Playing back an avi file...???
Hi there,
I've got a huge problem with playing back some avi files I downloaded. I know that they used nandub to comress into avi and I tried downloading nandub AND virtualdub, but I still can't watch the movie. Plz tell me what I am doing wrong and what can I do.
When I try to load the file into virtualdub, I get an error that sez:"Couldn't locate decompressor for format 'XVID' (unknown).
A logical step would be to look for that codec, but I just don't know where to look.
