Recently ripped a divx 5 movie 700MB with mp3 audio using gordian knot. When i play the movie the audio runs ahead of the video...I am running a p2 400 with 128ram...wondering if it is the cpu or if there is a way to pre-load audio to combat the video lag...also when i view the stats of the avi file it says the audio is at 48khz 117khz/s is this ok...anybody

I have converted from Divx format to SVCD, it looks great but out of sync. I used Tmpg VBR (2 pass), CBR was brutal.
My question, what sources are out there that will allow me to get the MPEG file in sync, without having to re-encode from Divx. Will Virtual dub do it & if so will I loose my video quality.
Any help is appreciated.Comment
