Slow seek with WMV

I have problem with slow seek with wmv files. Is there way to improve this: may be ther is player that enable more fast seek with wmv file than Microsoft media player? may be there is utility that rescans wmv file and add more keyframes to it?

I don't think so, ever since I been playing WMV or ASF it has always had that kind of seeking, no matter what player I use. I believe it has to do with the buffering of files. It's just the way it is.

The Sasami player has extra settings available in its "Preferences" section (under the "Renderer" tab) which when selected significanlty enhances the seekability of .ASF and .WMV files...
