    Playing Divx on a DVD player....

    Hi all

    As a complete newbie to this area, I could do with some help.

    Is it possible to play Divx movies on a DVD player, and if so, does anybody have any good links to show me how to do this?

    Appoligies if this is a 'regular' question, I tried searching the forum's first, but couldn't find / or didn't recognise the subject I was looking for..

      Nope, only 1 special DivX player is on the market, but you can obly order it online, and there are compatibility issues with the different version's of DivX video.

      You can, however, play VCD/SVCD video's on a dvd standalone, don't know if thats what youre lookin for though...
