One DVDplayer unable to open file

    Hi All-

thanks for all the support here, I am able to burn alot of cool stuffs! My question is: I have two DVD players, one is a cheap chinese one (ELite) that plays whatever you stick in there, another one is a Pioneer DV 444 (that supports SVCD/DVD/VCD/mp3.....).
I noticed that when I put the VCD onto the Elite, it will open up a screent hat have a root folder, which contains the movie, and I'll select that and play.
However, if I put it in my Pioneer one, it will not recognize it as a VCD, and pretend that it's a CD!!!! I don't get this, and it will just paly with no sound/no video. Pls help!

    1) The Pioneer may "not like" the brand of CD-R you've used to burn the VCD

    2) Have you tried running a DVD/CD cleaning disk on the Pioneer? Maxell makes one that sells for approximately $10US...

Its probably not brand related- since I've used that brand to burn other videos before without problem. I am suspecting some sort of formats....
I noticed that in terms of MP3s , it can only play certain formats, if they are located in folders, it won't recognize it....
Now, this one seems like it is located in some folders..

ALL VCDs have standard files in standard FOLDERS...
