    Ahead Nero

This is my first time posting on a board, so please bear with me.

I have downloaded some movies from Kazaa and am attempting to burn it onto a cd-r. Now, I use Ahead Nero and when I select the file that I want, it gives me an error message: "Due to patent license restrictions, the MPEG2 encoding software is not available." Now, Nero shows that I have the correct licenses for this. Does anyone know what might be the problem or can they recommend other software? Any help would be very useful.

    Thanks.

Buy the software, it's worth it.
Did you know you can SEARCH the forum? Fixes common problems too:

Also search on the whole Digital-Digest website:

      Nero Burning

I use DVD+R's instead of CD's. You might have to use something like DVD shrink to compress the files. Then I use DVD Decrypter to burn. I used to use Nero, too, but I had a lot of problems with it also. Hope this was of some help.

It would have been if you had advised him four and a half years ago.
