    Editing brightness and contrast

    Hi there,

    Working on a project where the source has very poor brightness and contrast. I want to edit it. Are there any programs on this site for doing that? besides programs like Adobe Premiere.

    Thank you

    If your source is avi then use VirtualDub.

        Yes. Mpeg-1 (eg VCD)

          Although VirtualDub will accept MPEG-1 files for INPUT, it will OUTPUT ONLY .AVI format files.

          I'd suggest you load the file into TMPGEnc
          Click on the "Advanced" tab
          Doubleclick on "Basic Color Correction" and make your adjustments
          Click on "OK"
          Put a checkmark in the box next to "Basic Color Correction"
          Click on "OK" to get back to the primary screen
          Make all the necessary settings required for the format you are working with and save with a new filename

          Let us know of your success ;>}

            Sweet, totally forgot TMPGEnc could do that, I don't even need to use VirtualDub anymore, thanks
