Hey
I just have a question about splitting an AVI file. When using Nandub, I find the start position, holding shift for keyframes, click the button to mark the start, then do the same for the end, then I save the avi, which is fine. Then I play it back in The Playa, and it's fine until you fast forward the video. The video moves forward, but the audio restarts. Is this normal? Or is this an issue with The Playa?
I realise it's hardly the best player to use, but with all the others I get an error: 'Invalid Audio not signalling an error!"
I'm probably missing a couple of codecs, but does any body have any solutions for this? I read on some newsgroups that it was an issue with the DirectX SDK and the debug Dll's (which I have on my system), but I remved them and it made no difference...
Thanks for any help in advance!
Cheers.
