how to extract only the audio from a dvd

this is my first post and maybe it's being asked before but i need to have the audio from a dvd, i've made divx movie but i've forgotten the audio so i'll need it, how can i extract it in .ac3 format, cause i'm creating a movie (panic room) with ac3.

DVDDecrypter ( and, I believe, SmartRipper as well) will allow you to select the specific streams you wish to extract.

If you've ripped the entire DVD to your hard drive, VOB2AUDIO can also be used for this purpose...

DVD2AVI can also be used to extract AC3 audio from a given set of VOB files.
