I have several mpeg movies that are anywhere from 20mb to 120mb that only have a total running time of several minutes and stops after I hit a certain mark, but when i move the slider I can access more of the video depending on which way and how much I move the slider (in WMP).
Is there a way to strip the index or some sort (like AVIs) and rebuild the movie, so I can watch the whole movie with the full correct running time, without moving the slider all around every 15 seconds to view the full movie.

----
Unrelated, I have been downloading AVI's that just show a black screen with audio. How do I fix?
----
Codecs I have:
Divx4
Divx 3.11 Alpha (I think Divx 4 overwrote this when installed so I havent uninstalled it yet)
Angelpotion
**I've been tampering with Adobe Premiere to see if I can fix the movies, but so far no luck**
~ Thank you for the help ~
