MERGE(2 & +) .mov FILES

Can some one tell me how can i merge two and more .mov files into one using some freeware program or ....can some one tell me the procedure to do that using Adobe Premiere?

Note: Am i doing something wrong when i try to merge 2 .mov ( 9 min + 10 min) files with Premiere, program starts to "render" it for 5 hours ????

Note2: Ofcourse i can .mov make into .avi with RAD VIDEO TOOL, and then use Virtual dub etc. but the point is " i need them in .mov ".
