    SVCD problem

    I don't know if you can help me but i sure hope you can

    I downloaded 2.Fast.2.Furious.INTERNAL.SVCD.TS-NOX
    when i extract the bin file i have 3 folders
    In MPEG2 i've got AVSEQ01 it's an mpeg file
    when i try to view this file i get an error

    Media player : cannot play this file

    BS player :

    BSPlayer v0.86.493, Unhandled exception at EIP: 004BEA5B
    If you click 'Close' application will be terminated.
    Please report this info to the author with description what were you doing.
    Read beyond end of file

    Micro DVD :

    Not a valid A/V file

    what's the problem and how can i solve it

    Hi scarab, and welcome.
    This should be posted in the P2P forum btw

    Ok, seems you don't have any MPEG2 directshow filters installed on your systm (eg no DVD player)

    Like DVD format, SVCD uses MPEG2 format also. If you just want to watch the AVSEQ01 file, install a dvd player or try the VOB_Filters_104 here.

    Get back to use on your progress.

      I really appreciated

      I installed PowerDVD but it doesn't seems to work
      At this moment I'm downloading some other programs

      the link on the page voor the filters didn't work
      I don't understand why but I looked on google and downloaded
      Moonlight-Elecard MPEG2 Player v. 2.1 release what also don't work

      I'm really pissed because It is a movie that i've been waiting on for a long time

      I you somebody also had this problem let me know or if you you know a way to solve it

      PS Next time I'll use the P2P section

        Ok,
        Download DVD2AVI and see if you can preview the SVCD in it.
        If no, it not a svcd.
