recording a TV show using a digital camcorder

Well I have viewed footage from the camera to the TV before using these cables, I just trying to see if I could captured too.

should work in reverse, also. just be sure you plug into the TV's VID OUT port rather than VID IN...and if it doesn't have vid out the VCR probably does...and should work if it's turned on.
