editing vob files

is there a program that I can use to edit vob files? I have a movie which has both french and english versions on it on the same vob files. what happens is for the first 5 minutes, which is all writing, it flashes between french and english video and audio. I want to get rid of the french so that I can finish converting to movie to avi. is there any program that I can use to edit the vob files?

You're describing a "multi-angle" video. If you have the ENTIRE DVD structure (.IFOs, .BUPs,.VOBs), you can use Flask to select only the English "angle" for conversion to .AVI...
