Mpeg2 To Divx

I have captured some great programs and movies in the form mpeg-2 files, but some of the files are in excess of 6 gigs. I would like to convert these files to DIVX, but am unsure which encoder to use. I have found plenty of programs for ripping DVD's and encoding to Divx, but there are no VOB files involved as the movies have already been processed to mpeg2.

Both Flask and MPEG Mediator will gladly accept MPEG2 files for input, as will virtually any other program that is intended for converting to DivX.

(Flask may "gag" on a 6Gig file)
