Avi - Str

Hi,

Anyone got any idea of how to convert Avi's to Str file's. I have tried using the sony movie converter but always get an error message saying that the prog had unknown problems accessing the files.

sonys movie convertor works well for me..
what system are you running mayb it is a problem with compatability and + do you know how to make a playstation play the *.str files once you burn them to a cd.

it might be your settings your using the same system as me except im using windows XP so maybe it is that we need some more advice i will take a look around on the net do some research...

Anyone figure this out yet?

I have that Movie Converter 1.3 and it does seem like it will convert the divx codec, but i have a few fiv3 and div4 that it wont recognize. I find this kind of odd because i have these codecs in my system files for use with mediaplayer. Anyone know if I need to put then somewhere else? Doesnt seem to be much info out there on this app. Also having trouble figuring out the sound. I will research and mess with it and let you know.

Also anyone have PSX Multi Converter?
