to answer your question banana_ice:
this depends on the mathematical algorythm the mosaic
pattern was created with.... if you are able to find
out with what application the mosaic was applied you might have a chance...
most aplications use a algorithm based on an injective
function to create such mosaic....that means they
cannot be undone by using an inverse function.....
or at least it is likley that you need several month
with an average homePC to perform all the iterations
an "y-->x" function (inverse function) might produce
if a bijective algorithm was used, it is possible to do
so....
but still there is the problem to find out what application was usedComment
