    real video

    Is it possible to convert or record real video(.rm file) to any other video formats like mpeg,avi,asf?

      Tinra is a program that claims to convert Real video to .AVI, but all indications are that it yields disappointing results.

        Tinra was a useless tool from the begining. Look at the link i posted above. EO Video is a step in the right direction.

          Thanks for the link.The EO video instruction said "under Audio use for example MPEG3 Layer compression or DivX Audio" but neither
          options were there,when I tried it,must i install mp3 encoder to have them?

              Tinra and EO Video

              I have used EO Video, it certainly worked better than Tinra, which produced an .avi file with no video. But the frame rate appears to be inconsistent for the second half of the .mpg file produced by EO video. The frame would freeze for a few minutes and then refresh quickly and freeze again. The first half is OK. This occurred despite I explicitly set the video data rate to be constant at 1150 kbits/sec. Any suggestions?
