    yes
I've fit 100 minutes on a 700mg cd. To do this i used TMPGenc.
you have to load the unlock.mcf template in the "other folder". With this you can adjust bitrate to the desired file size.

With DivX or XviD, it is even less of a worry since the bitrate allowed for this scenario is sufficiently high for most types of movies.

        Cheers.

            +v|essence,

Are you looking at creating VCDs or DivX/XviD-compressed videos?

my main problem is not being able to get the video to be 800 megs for my 80 min cd. and the methods of adjusting video size shown on that page, tmpgenc won't let me do it.

ok so heres what i did:

                  - i made a new template that produces 8.79 megs/ min on average

-so the movie being 90 mins, it should be 8.79X90= 791.1 megs

-using the 2-pass VBR with 975kbps for bitrate, the movie ended up 897 megs

All u need is to make it a KVCD.

Go to www.kvcd.net for everything you need.

You can fit up to 150(!) mins of movie on 1 cd.
Did you know you can SEARCH the forum? Fixes common problems too:
                    http://forum.digital-digest.com/search.php

Also search on the whole Digital-Digest website:
